Washington Hospital was being threatened with closure. It had to raise $190 million through an independent citizens’ bond in order to make improvements and carry out seismic upgrades for earthquake safety.


It looked like an impossible tasks: getting the required 2/3 super majority vote would mean appealing to 43% of voters, who, for insurance purposes, were required to seek their healthcare from Kaiser.

  • As a result of making local residents famous in our ads, the entire community rallied behind the hospital and voted "yes!"

  • A 223,000 sqft Critical Care Pavilion and Advanced ER, ICU and Coronary Care Unit was completed in 2018.

  • Today, Washington Hospital is consistently recognized as being one of the 100 best hospitals in America.
